A modo de ampliación de lo publicado ayer, ésta es la lista de discos más votados por los críticos de Down Beat. Sirve, entre otras cosas, para enterarse de lo que piensan en una revista especializada de los Estados Unidos gente que, se supone, tiene alguna calificación o, al menos, que accede a escribir sobre jazz en una de las revistas pioneras del género.

En la encuesta de críticos de Down Beat, cada uno de los votantes elige varios  álbumes en el orden deseado y éstos reciben una puntuación según el lugar de la lista en que son ubicados. En el recuento total se suman todos los puntos obtenidos por cada disco.
